The future of our Orthodox Church and its witness in this world for generations to come is our mission and common responsibility. The founders of Saint Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church have handed to us a spiritual haven for worship. We, in turn, "shall see visions," and "dream dreams" (Acts 2:17). We shall put to use the talents and gifts that God has bestowed upon us "for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry" (Ephesians 4:12).
Our vision is to ensure the means for Saint Mary Church to continue its mission and witness for future generations. For this purpose, the Charitable Gift Program was established in June 1994. Our objective is to create a fund that will generate an income for the annual operating budget of the church.
The fund consists of gifts and bequests which are invested in a secure investment vehicle. The minimum gift is five thousand dollars, and our goal is one hundred thousand dollars. The principal of this fund will always remain intact. When this fund reaches one hundred thousand dollars in cash or cash equivalent, fifty percent of the yearly income will be available for the running expenses of the church.
