Parish Council
While Saint Mary Church derives its ecclesiastical authority from the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, its administrative authority is vested in the pastor and the Parish Council.
The Parish Council is composed of the pastor and group of faithful Orthodox men and women elected or appointed to administer the affairs of Saint Mary Church in accordance with its constitution and by-laws. In addition, representatives of the church organizations are members of the Parish Council. The ministry of the clergy and laity are complementary.
